I think Noah Harari is speaking of the angry and wrathful god, Yahweh. Also, his interpretation is characteristically infantile--as in: more of what Bible classes might teach little children. Certainly not at the Joseph Campbell level of discernment. Noah Harari is a legend in his own mind--perhaps this is what happens when a person is named after a well known Biblical persona.
I’m watching now as I prepare dinner. He’s so annoying. My brother gave me Harari’s book, Sapiens, for my birthday this past August 🙄. Though I didn’t want to read it (I had already seen several of Harari’s talks), but I did and wrote a 9-page review refuting many of his claims, etc. Was only for my brother -- in an attempt to help him -- not for publication.
